Building villages of care – your support matters.

Did you know that 6.7 million Californians are caregivers? As our older adult population grows, so does the critical need for community-based care solutions. This is where villages make a profound difference.

Villages are intentional communities where neighbors help neighbors sustain independence and remain in charge of their lives as they age. Our statewide network of 50 villages provides essential support to older adults, especially those who are widowed, living alone, or far from family. From transportation to medical appointments to household assistance, our members create a vital safety net of care and connection.

This National Family Caregivers month and through the holiday season, we invite you to invest in strengthening these communities of care. Your donation will help us launch a comprehensive caregiving program that will:

  • Enhance support for members experiencing dementia and cognitive concerns
  • Equip existing villages with needed caregiving tools and resources
  • Help new villages build strong cultures of care from day one

Your financial backing will directly help us develop innovative, adaptable solutions for California’s aging population, ensuring that middle-income households have access to the care they need to age in their homes and communities.

By donating today at https://villagemovementcalifornia.org/donate/. We can make California a place where everyone can age better, with our community of care.
