March 2020 Newsletter

Focus: COVID-19 Virus

Our focus this month is on the COVID-19 Virus and its impact on villages. The information we present here is up-to-date as of press time. As we are learning, the situation changes rapidly so do check in with the reliable services listed in Charlotte’s letter below to stay current. Meanwhile, March is Women’s History Month and we salute all women for the contributions they make every day to their families and communities. And a happy St. Patrick’s Day to all

The newsletter focuses on COVID-19 and its impact on the villages. It includes extensive notes from a statewide phone call of leaders discussing the impact of the pandemic on village operations, a list of reliable resources, and a schedule of weekly Zoom calls covering important topics related to villages’ response to COVID-19.

Member Spotlight

Palos Verdes Peninsula Village

Palos Verdes Peninsula Village provides a community where members continue to grow, engage with one another, and age with independence, dignity and purpose.  Through volunteers and referrals, we provide support and services for members who have chosen to live in the communities and homes they love as they get older. Our mission is to preserve and enhance the comfort, security, dignity and sense of belonging for older residents who wish to continue to live on the Peninsula.
