Volunteerism

Over 3,000 intergenerational volunteers offer a range of services to keep older adults safe, supplied, and confident about aging in the places they call home. Every volunteer across California contributes to our movement’s culture of care.

One third of our volunteers are village members themselves, older adults over the age of 55 who serve as board members, program leaders, drivers, technologists, grocery shoppers, friendly visitors, health advocates, gardeners, and more!

We vet and train our intergenerational corps of volunteers, preparing them to build caring relationships and provide high quality support to people in their homes.

We welcome you to volunteer with the movement to transform lives and revolutionize the experience of aging.
